PRESS RELEASE For immediate release Exhibition R3 resistance . resilience . revolution Tropico de Nopal Gallery-Art Space 1665 Beverly Blvd. Los Angeles (Echo Park), CA 90026 Los Angeles, California -Tropico de Nopal Gallery-Art Space brings Jaime Guerrero's first solo show presented in Los Angeles, entitled R3 resistance . resilience . revolution.
Guerrero has studied with Masters such as Checco Ongaro, Pino Signoretto, and Ben Moore. He has attended Pilchuck Glass School (Seattle, Washington) and was nominated for the Corning Award. Guerrero has been a featured artist in the Mastercraft show at Gumps in San Francisco for five consecutive years. In 2006 Guerrero received the Saxe Fellowship Award through the Bay Area Glass Institute for Outstanding Artistic Achievement. He has also shown his glass creation in the Chicana/o Biennial in San Jose, California. Jaime Guerrero's artwork will be on view from June 19 to July 24. The artist's reception is scheduled for Saturday, June 19 from 7 to 10 pm. A conversation with the artist evening will take place on Thursday, July 8 starting at 7pm.
